DRY LAND FISH...DIGGIN' IN THE WOODS

4. Lay Me Down
5. Something Just Happened
6. Same Ol' Thing
7. On My Way
8. Southbound
9. Green Car
10. Down And Out

I Am At A Complete Loss For Words!

In A Word This CD Is
SOUTHERN

Extremely Southern!
I Dare You To Place Dry Land Fish In A Genre!
Country... NO
Rock.... NO
Blues... NO
I Have No Clue I Am Speechless

This Band Has Four Members Who Are Extremely Talented Vocalist!
Each Song is A Whole New Experience!
The Musicianship On This CD Is Perfect!
Darren Doyle's Guitar Is Mind Blowing!

Influences Prance Through This Record Like School Girls Through A Flower Garden!
Now That Was A Screwed Up Thought!

No Really Dry Land Fish's Influences Are Evident!
Johnny Cash, Bob Marley, Lynard Skynard, The Kentucky Headhunters, Itchy Brother!
Yet At The Same Time They Are Totally Original!

Okay Now To Talk About Individual Songs!

BUST A MOVE
As You May Have Guessed This Is A Cover!
Remember The Song, You Want It, Baby I've Got It!!!
Yeah That Song!
I Have To Say It Is An Unlikely Song For Dry Land Fish To Cover But They Did A Very Energetic And Exciting Version!

The Third Song
I WROTE THE BOOK
Has A Great Effect On The Vocals!
Kinda Unexpected But Get Used To It! They Use Effects Very Well Throughout This Disc!

A Very Country Track
SOMETHING JUST HAPPENED
Was Originally On Their First Disc!
I'm Glad They Brought This One Back!
Very Good

SAME OL' THING
If I May Quote RICHARD YOUNG of the Kentucky Headhunters
"Now This Song Is A Hit!"

ON MY WAY
This One For Some Reason Makes Me Think Of The Final Song In
ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW
I'm Going Home
Sung By Tim Curry
Not Sure As To Why
This Is Probably One Of My Favorite Tracks!

SOUTHBOUND
Very Lynard Skynard!
This Is One Of Those Kick Ass Bust Some Beer Bottles And Scream YEEHAW Songs!

And The Crowd Pleaser
GREEN CAR
Very Bob Marley Meets Bob Dylan And Steve Poltz!

And I Can't Go Without Mentioning The Secret Track!!!
Not Sure What The Title Is
But
"I Wanna Piece Of Your AAAAAAA....."

Okay Don't Forget There Are Other Tracks On This CD That Are Just as Amazing As The Ones Mentioned!

One Thing That Does Stand Out To Me On This Disc Is The Harmonica!
For Some Wild Reason I Can't Get AL JOURGENSON Of MINISTRY Out Of My Head!
After Seeing Ministry Live And Hearing AL Play The Harmonica Quite Often I Can Say DRY LAND FISH Have The Exact Same Sound!

One Of The Best Things About This Band Is The Live Show
I Saw Them For The First Time Last Night!
I Listened To This CD Several Times Preparing Myself For The Show But Was Still Blown Away!

I Can Only Guess That Seeing DRY LAND FISH Would Be Just Like Seeing THE GRATEFUL DEAD With A Lot More Energy!
And The Covers They Do Amaze Me!
They Actually Did
FREE BIRD
Some Of The Other Songs They Performed Were
RUSTY CAGE (not the Johnny Cash Version or the Soundgarden Version But the Dry Land Fish Version)
RING OF FIRE (With Cool Mouth Trumpets)
A Bob Marley Song That I Can't Remember The Title Of! (AMAZING)
PROUD MARY! (I've Never Heard It Played So Fast)

So You Must Go See DRY LAND FISH Live And Buy The CD To Get The Full Effect

My Only Complaint About This CD And It's A Really Stupid Complaint!

Both Of Dry Land Fish's CD's Start Off With A Cover Song!
I Know It's Stupid But Oh Well!
