FREE's voice truly carries this record, the music is good but what we're here for is the lyrics and delivery, both are ample!
It makes me smile though the slight soft distortion that kicks in on this first full song, it's like KIDNEYTHIEVES with training wheels!

I think any ANI DIFRANCO fan would appreciate this record, I use ANI as an example mainly because so many love her but she's definitely not MAIN STREAM, FREE is definitely not MAIN STREAM, though she could be..

I think the honesty in FREE's music will scare a lot of people, if only everyone could be this honest!
RELIEF
What more do we really need?
In fact this record in itself is a relief, It's nice to see someone who is truly what they are, I mean already having the fame of THE KIDNEYTHIEVES but she's so much more..

one of my favorites
this is the type song I could just set back relax and day dream to.... it also reminds me so much of the style of music made popular by the artist known as DONOVAN, if you don't know who he is your loss!

being such a fan of LIVE recordings especially ACOUSTIC music this track is a jewel in FREE's crown!
Hell this whole record would have been just as good if every track was recorded this way!

love the kinda moody gothic feel of this song.. almost MAZZY STAR or OPALish
should be in one of those UNDERWORLD type movies.. definitely has that DARK SHADOWS VINCENT PRICE type feel!

imagine old school BLACK SABBATH, well what OLD SCHOOL Sabbath would have been if they were acoustic guitars and a very intelligent female!
