Even though this is a RE-RELEASE of the KIDNEYTHEIVES first album TRICKSTER with bonus trax including the FUCKING AWESOME track RED & VIOLET and the beautiful acoustic version of BEFORE I'M DEAD this is not what I'm here to talk about.. WHAT I'm here to talk about is the DVD that comes along with this package
let's start off with the older videos...
TAXICAB MESSIAH was KT's first video! but by no means is it inferior to the others... If SHERYL CROW was in a GOTH band this is what her video would be.. FREE is incredibly beautiful in her cowboy hat and wavey hair.. and BRUCE well hell I almost didn't recognize him.. this goes to show how people change through the years.. This video was amazing.. I wish I had seen it back when it was actually played on MTV and those other video channels..
ZEROSPACE is the video most people have seen.. VERY MARILYN MANSON Meets AMERICAN MCGEE's ALICE
what more can you ask for a beautiful woman in a tub full of NON DAIRY PRODUCT (haha) and a fucking awesome industrial band jamming their asses off in the background.. this is truely one of my fave videos of all time.. right up there with PANTERA's I'M BROKEN & ALKALINE TRIO's We've Had Enough!!
then we have the RED & VIOLET video.. there are few different versions of this video for you to play with.. the actual version which shows the guys and girl in their own practice mode.. being themselves.. Very cool.. it's nice to see that our ROCK IDOLS are normal people like us..
then we have the multiangle version where you can PICK which member you want to stare at through the whole video, I wonder who we'll watch the most haha..
Then they're the overused Boomerang effect version.. It's cool but was cooler when it was used only once or twice in the actual video!!
and the best part of the whole DVD is the CONCERT
I've been lucky enough to see the KIDNEYTHIEVES in concert not to mention hang out with them aftewards so I know what to expect.. but this DVD is a gift to all those who havent' seen them.. Theif live show is so energetic and amazing.. FREE holds onto you from beginning to end and the boys give the perfect background music to her little performance..
I'd go into more detail on the live show but it would be better if you went and read the concert review I did of these guys.. it will let you know more..
Over all and in closing.. THIS DVD is possibly the most watched MUSIC dvd I own.. so that says something.. GO GET IT!!
