Dead Puppy Record's "Music Is Our Life" is a glorious display of hard core fandom for TCM and the music it has inspired. The album pays tribute to the "Cornbugs", a band created by renowned guitarist BUCKETHEAD and character actor Bill Moseley. Moseley's most (in)famous role was in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2, playing the plate-headed nam vet psycho CHOP TOP. Moseley reprised the character for the Cornbugs, and quickly built up a rabid fanbase of both Buckethead and TCM fans, many of whom consider TCM2 to be as good or better than the original because of his performance. Long story short, the fans have gathered together to cover some classic Cornbugs tunes from the first album. Notable tracks include SIXTH FLOOR's "Vegetable Man", THE ILLNESS THE CONDITION's "Spot The Psycho", and KEITH HURT's "Chicken And A Severed Hand".

Of course, what TRULY makes this album shine is the smorgasboard of special guest appearances. They are, in no particular order, JIM SIEDOW (TCM 1 - 2), MARILYN BURNS (TCM), PAUL PARTAIN (TCM), EDWIN NEAL (TCM), and of course BILL MOSELEY (TCM 2). For fans of the series, it's like a party with all your old friends. Edwin Neal even sings an entire track, reprising his role as the psychotic HITCH-HIKER. It's a riot.

All in all, this album is not only a wild good time for TCM fans, but a funny, catchy collection of deranged music as well. Check it out.

Oh, and listen for me on the 2nd track. (PLUG)
